Palayan City - A Laid-Back Capital
Palayan City is the Capital of Nueva Ecija but unlike its more progressive neighbour City of Cabanatuan, life there is very simple if not boring. The place is devoid of any modern recreational activity and its massive land area is so thinly populated.
Rice fields, hills and rivers dominate the Palayan Landscape. A traveler can wander around Palayan's vast plain and get lost in its immerse ins and outs so it is advisable to get friendly with the locals and ask them to tour you around the City. While Palayan is indeed very laid-back, a wary traveler can still find beauty in its tranquil environment.
